Methi Na Gota
this is pappa all time favourite dish. this dish used to be part of our Sunday lunch menu. Specailly during rainy season, pappa used to like this a lot.
Ingredients:
2 cups of gram flour
1/2 cup thick wheat flour(mota gehu ka atta)
2 cup washed and chopped feenugreek leaves
1 cup curd
chopped corainder leaves, green chillies as per taste and liking
black pepper-crushed
1 teaspponful of Garam masala
Pinch of Eno
turmeric powder
chilli powder
dhaniya powder
salt as per taste
riped banana(optional)
Garlic can be added(optional)
*If you are adding riped and mashed banana, dont add garlic.
oil to fry
Steps:
mix gram flour, wheat flour. Add all other ingredients except Eno. Add luke warm water to make it thick consistency> Mix well in one direction only for 3-4 minutes.(mixing well will help in making gota soft). Add eno to it.
Take oil in frying pan. Heat it till it comes to boil. Now add small laddleful of batter to make Gota. Fry to make it golden brown.
Serve it hot with green chutney.
