 Sukhadi

One of the favourite dishes of my daughter. the moment name sukhadi comes, i remeber my mummy' sukhadi served in a small caserole hot, yummy and fresh with a tempting fragrrance of ghee.

It is a gujarati sweet dish. Mahudi-A jain temple is known for sukhadi as a prasad.It is very simple and easy to make with only 3 ingredeints.

Ingredeints:

wheat flour 2/3rd cup

Jaggery 1/4 cup

Ghee 1/3 cup

Steps:

Turn on the gas, take a pan and add ghee. Allow it to warm it. add wheat flour and raost it till it changes it colour-mild red in colour. turn of the gas. Mix crushed/ grated jaggery. Due to heat retained in the pay, jagggery will melt. Mix well.

Now apply ghee on the plate.Now spread sukhadi with spatule. Allow to cool. Cut into pieces. Serve hot. it is healthy and yummy too.
