Take a pan and add water for boiling. Add butter, chopped tomato, cashew, onion, ginger, garlic, salt, green chili and all spices. Cover with a lid and boil for 15-20 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to cool. Remove tamalpatra from the gravy. transfer in a blender jar and blend to make a smooth gravy.
Meanwhile cut paneer into small 1inch pieces. Take another pan, turn on the flame, and add butter(quantity of butter can be adjusted as per you wish. Add ginger, and green chili to saute. Now add paneer pieces and add salt. Cook on low-medium flame so it becomes light brown on both sides. Just before adding gravy, add Kashmiri red chili powder to avoid it burning. Immediately add gravy and cook for another 10-15 minutes on low-medium flame. In between stir well. Once you see oil is visible on the sides, turn of the flame. Garnish with coriander.
